Seven people are running for four seats on the Danville District 118 school board in the April 6th election.
Deputy Vermilion County Circuit Clerk Lindsey Light says the candidates include four incumbents (Dr. Randal Ashton, Darlene Halloran, Lon Henderson and Shannon Schroeder) and three newcomers (Harsha Gurujal, Ricky Hoskins and Tyson Parks).
Other candidates on the April ballot for school boards throughout Vermilion County:
- Armstrong-Ellis Grade School: Joe McElhoe, Ryan Ackerman and Joshua Blackford
- Armstrong Township HS: Zachary Acton, Justin Hedrick and Everett Parkerson
- Bismarck-Henning: Justin Watt, Steve Lane, Maridith Hearnley
- DACC Board of Trustees: Sandra Finch, Dylan Haun, Maruti Seth
- Georgetown-Ridge Farm: Hilah O’Neal, Greg Emmert, Cassidy Spesard, Karlee Thorem, Sam Fourez, Connie Cannon and Angela Carlton
- Hoopeston Area: Sharon Zorns, Deborah Klaber, Elizabeth Silver, Cheryl Steiner and Travis Field
- Oakwood: Mark Janesky, Bob Linn and Brenda Ludwig
- Potomac: Lucas Esteppe, Kristi Hawker, Jackie Crull, Jeb Kennel and Jenny Tholl
- Rossville-Alvin: Donna White, Robert Ray, John Petersen and Chris Quick
- Salt Fork: Jared Fritz, Anthony Pacot and Seth Smoot
