Ameren natural gas customers will see a slight increase in their bills starting in February. The Illinois Commerce Commission has approved the company’s request to help strengthen natural gas delivery infrastructure and ensure pipeline safety and service reliability.
Ameren says the typical residential customer will see their natural gas bill increase by about $2.30.

Ameren Illinois has provided more than $9-million dollars in bill payment assistance to customers impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
