The two victims in a shooting Sunday afternoon in Oakwood have been identified.
19-year-old Wyatt Bailey of Oakwood and 15-year-old Clayvonte Sloan of Rantoul died as a result of injuries sustained in the shooting.
According to Captain Michael Hartshorn of the Vermilion County Sheriff’s Department, the shooting occurred at 2:45 p.m. Sunday at a mobile home park on the south edge of Oakwood, outside a trailer at the intersection of Lee and Wayne streets.
The suspects–three juveniles and one adult–fled the scene in a vehicle but were apprehended a short time later.
