Alexandra Gale has been named the new manager of Vermilion Regional Airport. She succeeds Mike Vadeboncoeur, who resigned in December.
Gale joins the Danville airport from Flightstar in Savoy. She has been the company’s Avionics Manager and previously was the Director of Recruiting where she spoke to students at various flight schools and helped build a pool of candidates for various roles at the company.
Gale received a bachelor’s degree in air traffic management from Lewis University and an associate’s from Danville Area Community College.
She is the incoming president of the Illinois Aviation Trades Association, which works with government officials to better the aviation industry throughout the state.
Gale and her family live in Danville. She and her husband are both active in the hot-air balloon community.
