With central Illinois being back in Phase 4 of COVID-19 mitigation measures, the Vermilion County War Museum is being allowed to reopen.
The war museum is set to open again on Friday and also on Saturday, but there will be shortened hours and restrictions put in place.
The public will be allowed to visit the museum between Noon and 4 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays in February. Face masks will be required for all visitors along with social distancing. Groups are limited to a maximum of eight people.
Museum officials say they hope to be able to return to their regular hours in March, which are Tuesday through Friday from Noon until 4 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
