The hits keep coming for Marilyn Manson. Over the weekend, Evan Rachel Wood revealed more facts about her former relationship with Manson, born Brian Warner, including that she had to file a police report against his current wife after she threatened to leak underage photos of Wood in order to ruin her career.
In an Instagram story on Saturday (Feb. 6th), Wood wrote, “On Dec. 19, I had to file a police report after I was alerted to threats made by @leslee_lane and @lindsayusichofficial (Brian’s wife) for conspiring to release photos of me when I was UNDERAGE, after being given large amounts of drugs and alcohol, after Brian performed on Halloween in Las Vegas, to ‘Ruin my career’ and ‘Shut me up.’” Wood shared screenshots of a blackmail photo and the police report she filed.
Additional allegations against Manson come from Wolf Alice’s Ellie Rowsell, who has accused him of filming up her skirt without her consent when they met at a festival, and actor Corey Feldman, who accuses Manson of “decades long mental and emotional abuse” and grooming him.
On Saturday, Rowsell tweeted, "I met Marilyn backstage at a festival a few years ago. After his compliments towards my band became more and more hyperbolic I became suspicious of his behaviour. I was shocked to look down and see he was filming up my skirt with a gopro. There were no repercussions for his behaviour, his tour manager simply said ‘he does this kind of thing all the time’."
Feldman also shared the details of his Manson experiences on Instagram over the weekend writing, “The night @marilynmanson tried 2 us & abuse me as his play toy by trying to manipulate me n2 breaking my 5 yrs of sobriety 2 snort cocaine w him, while gas lighting me 4 his press tour on #MechanicalAnimals was where the decades long mental and emotional abuse began!” Feldman added that he was “not physically harmed” on that night, but described it as “just the beginning of my nightmare."
On Friday (Feb. 5th), Sharon Osbourne spoke out about her relationship with Manson on her show, The Talk. She served as his manager, and her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, had planned a 2020 tour with Manson until the pandemic forced its cancellation.
Osbourne said that she has gotten a lot of hateful messages from people on social media. While the two have known each other for 25 years, Osbourne said she does "not know what goes on in his bedroom," adding, "There's something called a working relationship and that's what I've had with Marylin for many years. I know nothing about his sexual preferences or the way he treats women. I know how he treats an older woman, which is me. And he's always been respectful."
Manson was dropped by his record label and booking agent after Wood and several other women came forward to publicly detail the abuse they experienced from the singer.
