Danville police are investigating a shooting incident that left a 17-year-old boy hospitalized.
Commander Josh Webb says officers were called to OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center early in the morning on Saturday to speak with a shooting victim. The boy told officers he was in the area of English Street and Koehn Drive shortly before 2 a.m. on Saturday when he noticed a blue-colored car drive by and someone in the vehicle fired two shots at him.
The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his leg, which is not considered life-threatening.
