Larsa Pippen has called Future “delusional” for name dropping her in one of his songs. Back in 2017, Future seemingly took a shot at Larsa's ex on “Rent Money,” saying, “I make the blogs with ya b**** cause I'm ruthless/I make the blogs with ya b**** cause I'm ruthless/Yah, I get cash money like I'm Mack Maine/I just put a rapper b**** on game/I be smokin' rapper weed with my gang/I just slam dunked ya b**** hall of fame.”
In an interview with Hollywood Unlocked, she said, “That was stupid of him because it was not that, like he was delusional, it was not that. It was never that, it was like I was really sad, I was in a point in my life where I was really sad and I was dealing with like, 'Do I move on? Do I not? Are my kids gonna be ok?' And it was like a lot of guilt I felt and he was the guy that was there to see me go through it and he was the guy I would talk to when I was dealing with things.”
She added, “He gave me confidence when I was in a dark place. He served a purpose. Did I want to spend the rest of my life with him? Don't think so, but he served a purpose.”
She later said during the interview that she never “realized there's a lot of guys that will date you for clout until I moved to LA.”
