Voters wishing to cast their ballots in the upcoming consolidated election in Vermilion County will be able to do starting on Thursday.
Vermilion County Clerk Cathy Jenkins says her office will be open for in-person early voting from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Voters living within the Danville city limits can also vote starting on Thursday at the Danville Election Commission office in the basement of the Vermilion County Administration Building. The county clerk’s office is located on the north end of the first floor of the building.
The county clerk’s office will also be open for early voting on two Saturdays, March 27th and April 3rd, from 9 a.m. until Noon.
There are several competitive races on the April 6th ballot, including races in five wards in Danville, Danville District 118 school board, Danville Area Community College Board of Trustees, and several races around the county, including for the mayor of Hoopeston.
