The Georgetown-Ridge Farm school district is hosting a forum Wednesday night for the candidates running for the district’s school board.
The forum will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School cafeteria. A limited number of people will be allowed inside due to COVID-19 restrictions, but the forum is also being streamed online on YouTube for the public to watch.
Wednesday’s event is being organized by the Georgetoen-Ridge Farm Education Association.
The teachers’ union asked the public to submit questions for the event through social media and a committee has selected the final list of questions to answer.
Seven candidates are running for three spots on the board. Greg Emmert, the board’s vice president, is running for re-election. There are also six newcomers: Cassidy Spesard, Hilah O’Neal, Karlee Thomen, Sam Fourez, Connie Cannon and Angela Carlton.
