The Danville Library Foundation is hosting a virtual gala on Saturday, March 13th in order to raise money for the library’s ongoing programs and projects. The event is being co-produced by MegaEvents, an area event coordinating organization that has had extensive experience in virtual event planning.
Foundation Director Peter Blackmon says that “Up ’21: The UnGala Virtual Event” will begin at 7 p.m. live from the Fischer Theatre in downtown Danville, featuring performances by artist John Jansky as well as 90’s Daughter featuring their horn section. The event will also premier a video created in partnership with the library.
While the event will be free to view, interested parties can participate in a silent and live auction by texting the word “Danville” to 56651.
