Two job fairs for open positions in Danville will be held this month.
Liberty Village of Danville is hosting a job fair on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. for nursing positions, including RNs, LPNs and CNAs. Applicants are asked to bring licenses and references. The not-for-profit company offers a wide range of benefits, including paid time off, a 401K, health insurance, tuition and loan reimbursement and a flex spending account.
The second job fair will be held on Friday, March 12th and is for those interested in working for the City of Danville’s Public Works Department. Director Carl Carpenter says the city is looking for seasonal workers in the solid waste, sewer, streets and parks divisions. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and 18 to operate equipment, and have a driver’s license. The job fair will take place from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, March 12th, but those wishing to attend are encouraged to fill out an application on the city’s website and bring it with them.
