Sevendust drummer Morgan Rose says his first experience with racism with the band was during a show in Phoenix when some concert-goers threw rocks at the stage and making the Nazi salute gesture. He told the Rocking With Jam Man podcast, “My drum tech looks at me, and he lifts up this fu**ing rock. It was, like, big — that if it were to hit me in the face or in the head, it would do real damage. And they're all over the place.”
The incident happened during the Tattoo the Earth tour in the early 2000s, and he said that similar things have happened “a few times.”
