OSF HealthCare is now offering the COVID-19 vaccine to any resident of Vermilion County who wants to receive it.
Anyone who is at least 16 years old can visit osfhealthcare.org/vaccine and schedule their appointment. Once they sign up, patients will be receiving a confirmation code along with an email or text message with a link to schedule their appointment.
Patients who are under the age of 18 will need to be accommodated by an adult to their vaccination appointment.
In Champaign County, OSF is continuing to partner with the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District to host a community vaccination site at the Rantoul Youth Center on Country Club Lane. Appointments are available on Monday, April 19 and Tuesday, April 20. You can register by calling 217-892-6844.
The vaccine is free from OSF, but its supply is dependent on how many doses are received from the Illinois Department of Public Health.
