A multi-family house on Danville’s southwest side was damaged by a fire on Monday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the house, which is located in the 300-block of South Harmon Street, around 4:30 p.m. All of the occupants made it out safely, with three people being rescued from the roof.
The official cause is still being probed, although a resident in the upstairs unit says it started in the kitchen area. Damage is visible from the exterior on the south side of the building.
