Indiana State Police say they collected almost $2 million worth of methamphetamine and fentanyl during a traffic stop along Interstate 70 on Monday afternoon.
Officers pulled over 32-year-old Ester Osegueda and 27-year-old Adam Lopez, who are both from California, around 1:30 p.m. near Monrovia after their vehicle was observed swerving in and out of lanes. The entire vehicle was searched.
134 pounds of crystal meth and 90 pounds of fentanyl were found stored in the trunk of the car. The drugs originated in the Memphis area and the two suspects were transporting them to Indianapolis. Both are facing charges of dealing narcotics and are being held in the Hendricks County Jail.
