Danville’s historic Fischer Theatre is hosting a unique event to celebrate mothers in the area.
A brunch and concert will be held on Mother’s Day, which is Sunday, May 9th, beginning at 10 a.m.
Ashton Greer, the Operations Director at the Fischer, told WDAN’s Linda Bolton that the food for the event will consist of a charcuterie-style brunch with several different drinks available. A music duo will also be performing on stage.
Audio Player“Mid-October…they’re a duo out of the Champaign-Urbana area,” she says. “They are going to be performing. Their music is just really chill. It’s very easy to listen to. It’s beautiful the way their voices pair together.”
There are three different ticket options for the event. The first option is a general admission ticket. A second option will be a table brunch where the first few rows of the seating is normally located, while the final option involves a table brunch in the box area.
Tickets can be purchased at the theater’s website. Capacity is limited to 250 people, and masks can be removed once people reach their seats.
