- COVID Clinic set at Salvation Army – (855 E. Fairchild St, Danville) The Vermilion County Health department is sponsoring this no-cost COVID-19 Moderna Vaccine Clinic for those 18 & older only; 11:30AM-4:00PM. For First-dose recipients only. Participants should arrive no later than 3:45PM. Walk-ins are welcome while supplies last.
- Sleepy Creek Vineyards/Wieners & Wine/Live Music – (8254 E 1425 North Rd, Fairmount) Winery Open Noon-9:00PM; Wieners & Wine – we provide the hot dogs fixings, & fire to roast it over; 5:00-8:00PM. Also, free music with In Bloom; 6:30-8:00PM.
- Dinner at the Gao Grotto – (2400 Denmark Rd, Danville) Dinner featuring 8 oz. Cheeseburgers /Hamburgers, Chicken Strips, and Grilled Chicken Sandwich with 2 side choices of Fries, Onion Rings, Coleslaw, and Beans; 5:30-7:30PM. Price is $8.
- Ladies Night Out at Mad Goat Coffee South – (701 S. Gilbert St, Danville) Come shop with vendors featuring Scentsy, Matilda Jane, Younique and Color Street and Plunder Design stylists; 5:30-8:00PM. Don’t’ miss the giveaways!
- Open Ice Skating at the Palmer Arena – (100 W. Main, Danville) 6:00-8:00PM; $6.00 Admission, $1 Skate Rental.
- Open Roller Skating at Illini Skateland – (8 Brewer Rd, Danville) 6:00-9:00PM; Admission $10.00.
SATURDAY, MAY 1
- Danville Art League Exhibit “Birds of a Feather” – (320 N. Franklin St, Danville) Featuring the Paul Carlson collection of bird objects & DAL members’ paintings, photographs & sculptures; 9:00AM-Noon.
- Danville Farmer’s Market at First Presbyterian Church – (100 N. Franklin, Danville) Both inside the gym and in the parking lot; 10:00AM-2:00PM.
- Healthy Kids Day at the YMCA – (1111 N. Vermilion, Danville) Free kid’s activities including games, art activities, an exercise class, water safety demonstration & more; Noon-2:00PM. On the lawn or in the gym if it rains.
- Sleepy Creek Vineyards/Vino & Vines – (8254 E 1425 North Rd, Fairmount) Winery Open Noon-6:00PM; Vino & Vines with Ian Leith from 3:00-5:00PM.
- Kid’s May Day Goodie Bag Give-Away at Hoopeston’s Masonic Lodge – (206 W. Orange, Hoopeston) Drive thru & get a free goodie bag for kids; 1:00-3:00PM. While supplies last.
- Open Ice Skating at the Palmer Arena – (100 W. Main, Danville) 1:00-4:00PM; $6.00 Admission, $1 Skate Rental.
- Benefit at the Gao Grotto – (2400 Denmark Rd, Danville) This benefit is in support of officer Misti Smitley to assist with health expenses; 1:00-8:00PM. Featuring Raffles, Silent Auction, and Live music with the Dixie Flyer Band.

SUNDAY, MAY 2
