Also, Friday, May 28th, is when applications are due for the Level I and Level II LPN to RN part time program this Fall. Applications are available at https://www.dacc.edu/depts/nursing. Or for more information call 217-443-8553 or email nursing@dacc.edu.
Effective Monday, May 24th, DACC is downgrading its mask requirements regarding the COVID 19 pandemic. With updated guidance from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) and from the Governor’s office and Illinois Department of Public Health, fully vaccinated individuals will no longer be required to wear a mask while on the campus. Additionally, all college entrance doors will be unlocked and open for your convenience.
Unvaccinated employees, students, and visitors should continue to wear a mask while on campus. Disposable masks will be available at stations throughout the campus for those who do not have one with them. The college will rely on the integrity of students and colleagues to wear a mask – or not – based on their individual vaccine status.
DACC is also giving a tuition waiver equal to 3 credit hours for Summer Classes (in-district tuition and fees) for students who simply show their CDC COVID Vaccination Card. It is a value of up to $600. The student is responsible for the cost of course materials and any tuition or fees exceeding $600. There is no refund for courses costing less than $600, and the offer excludes non-credit courses in Corporate/Community Education and Adult Education.
DACC offers technical, transfer and dual enrollment programs. And you can receive a $600 waiver when you enroll in 15 or more credit hours for Fall 2021.
