Danville Area Community College’s president will continue to lead the college under a new three-year contract agreement.
Dr. Stephen Nacco would receive a one-percent salary increase every year for the next three years, with the current salary being around $190,000 per year. The college would also make a deferred payment each year of around $4,000 toward a 401K retirement plan. Nacco says he plans to contribute around $8,000 annually to the retirement plan on his own.
College trustees negotiated the contract at their board meeting last week, Nacco says.
Nacco has lead DACC for five years, and is the seventh president in the history of the college. He worked in the administration at a college in New Jersey and for the New York City transit authority before coming to Danville.
