Officials at Harbor Freight Tools say they plan to open their new store location in Danville sometime this summer.
The store, which carries a large selection of hand and power tools and automotive items, is set to open at 3371 N. Vermilion St. in the former Office Max location, in front of Stock and Field. Construction work has already begun at the site, using local contractors from around the area.
Approximately 25 to 30 employees will be working at the Danville store, including Sales and Logistics Supervisors, Senior Associates and Sales Associates, along with seasonal job opportunities.
“We’ve been looking to open a location in Danville for a number of years so that we can provide the tools and equipment at tremendous values to the community,” says Trey Feiler, Senior Vice President, Real Estate and Construction for Harbor Freight Tools. “In addition to finding a great location, we were attracted by the availability of great associates in the Danville area, and we look forward to having them join the Harbor Freight team.”
