A woman from Manteno is facing charges in Warren County after police say that she fled from them while driving 40 miles per hour over the speed limit on Tuesday morning.
23-year-old Rhiannon Coy is facing charges of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and reckless driving.
Indiana State Police say that a trooper was patrolling U.S. Route 41 near County Road 650 North in Warren County when he attempted to pull over Coy, who was driving more than 90 miles per hour while traveling in a 50-miles-per-hour construction zone with workers present. Coy fled from police in her vehicle until she came to a stop at the intersection of State Route 63 and County Road 725 South.
The Fountain County Sheriff’s Department and Covington Police Department assisted in the pursuit.
