Danville police say that two people were injured in separate shootings over the weekend.
Commander Josh Webb reports that a man was taken to the emergency room at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center after a shooting at 12:18 a.m. on Saturday. The man told officers that he was at a party in Vermilion Garden Apartments when he heard gunfire and was struck by bullets. His injuries are non-life-threatening.
Then on Sunday at 3:19 a.m., a man told police he was hanging out with friends at the corner of Cronkhite and Main streets on Danville’s east side when he heard shots and was struck. He was transported to the emergency room for treatment of injuries. He is listed in stable condition at OSF.
