The Vermilion County Fair and Expo begins Wednesday (June 23, 2021) after taking last year off because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Actually, some activities have already been happening at the fairgrounds. General project judging was held Monday for 4-H entries. They will be on display all this week.
Wednesday’s activities include a 4-H Tractor and Lawn Tractor Driving Contest, and 4-H Horse Show – both starting at 9:00 a.m.
The Little Miss/Young Miss program begins at 6:00 p.m. And the Junior Miss and Queen Pageant are at 7:00 p.m.
Once you pay the gate admission of $6 you get unlimited rides at the carnival. The carnival hours are 6:00 until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, 5:00 until 11:00 p.m. on Friday, noon until 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, and from noon until an unknown time on Sunday.
