Bond has been set at $150-thousand dollars for a Hoopeston man who is being held in a weekend armed robbery. Hoopeston Police arrested 38-year-old Matthew M. Hofer in connection with a Saturday (July 3, 2021) robbery at the 112 Wine and Coffee Shoppe. The business is located at 112 East Main Street in Hoopeston.
Hofer is facing charges of Aggravated Armed Robbery, Robbery, and theft. He was located and arrested by Hoopeston Police shortly after the robbery was reported.
