The President and CEO of Vermilion Advantage is making some changes after accepting the job late last year. Tim Dudley says Machelle Dykes is now the head of Chamber Operations. He says a lot of people are unaware the office also handles the duties that were earlier handled years ago by the Chamber of Commerce….

Dudley adds Vermilion Advantage is also bringing back what was previously known as Member Round Table meetings…

I want people to talk to each other, and learn about each other. Because we all need to work together, and I think it’s important that we have those luncheons.}
The next Vermilion Advantage Business and Networking Luncheon is set for Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the David S. Palmer Arena. It runs from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and will feature Guido Esteves, Coordinator of eSports/Pep Band/Audio/Visual at Danville Area Community College as the guest speaker.
Vermilion Advantage is also bringing back the Young Professionals Network. Young professionals and business operators in Vermilion County are invited to join the group. The Young Professionals Network will hold a kick-off luncheon meeting at the Danville Country Club at 2718 Denmark Road on Friday, August 13, 2021.
