Danville Police are investigating a case involving the reckless discharge of a firearm and criminal damage to property Saturday night at 16 South State Street. Police responded to the area shortly after 9:00 p.m. but no other details were immediately available.
Danville Police also investigated the aggravated discharge of a firearm shortly before 1:30 Sunday morning (July 18, 2021) at 1102 Fowler Street. The location is an apartment building.
And Danville Police are probing two robbery reports. In one of them a 43-year-old Danville woman reported she was robbed Saturday evening at Menards at 36 East West Newell Road. The robbery was reported around 7:45 p.m. The second report involved an armed robbery at Vermilion and Williams Streets in Danville. It was reported shortly after 1:00 a.m. Saturday.
No other details were immediately released on any of the incidents.
