Work is advancing on a new Covington McDonald’s Restaurant which is slated to open later this year. On Saturday there was an open hiring event for crew team members, management and maintenance employees.
McDonald’s is offering up to $13 an hour for Crew and up to $17 an hour for Managers. And the employees can also qualify for other benefits including college tuition reimbursement, scholarships, training/development, a 401K savings program, and meal discounts.
It was announced in February of last year that the new McDonald’s was coming to Covington. It will be the seventh McDonald’s Restaurant under the direction of owner-operators Don and Deanna Witzel. It is expected to bring around 60 full and part-time jobs to Covington when it opens. It is located along U.S. route 136 on the west side of the community.
