Aqua Illinois Water Company has announced the cancellation of its boil advisory for some of its customers in the Danville area. All Aqua customers in the area can now consume water without having to boil it.
The water company had issued a boil advisory on Friday as a precautionary measure only due to temporarily diminished chlorine levels. The levels can fluctuate for a variety of reasons according to the company.
Aqua customers who live west of the Lake Vermilion bridge had still been under the advisory after it was dropped for some other customers on Danville’s north side. But now, even those customers living west of the bridge no longer need to boil their water.
