Tailgate food is great, but it tastes even better when it looks great too. These gorgeous salami roses are going to elevate your spread and make your charcuterie boards the envy of everyone at the game (or your next party). Plus, they are so easy you’ll be able to make one in about 2 minutes.
What You Need
- A package of hard salami, 7 oz.
You’ll want the slices to be about 3 inches in diameter. You can use regular or thin sliced, but the regular tends to hold its
shape better. - A round drinking glass.
The smaller the diameter of the drinking glass, the smaller the rose will be and the less salami it will take to make it. Champagne flutes are great for smaller roses.
Directions
- Start layering your salami slices around the glass so that half of the salami slice is inside the glass and half is outside the glass. Make sure to overlap the edges of the salami pieces.
- Keep layering until the rose feels full and that it will hold its shape. (Tip: If you use glass or clear plastic, you’ll be able to see your rose before you release it from the cup.)
- Invert your glass and your salami rose is revealed!
A 7 oz. package will make about 1 small and 1 large rose or 2-3 small roses.
