As we move into fall, there are opportunities for grants for small businesses to give you a boost for the rest of 2021 and into 2022. As Nicole Van Hyfte from Vermilion Advantage explains, you can apply for the Back to Business grant by going to vermilionadvantage.com, which takes you to the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity site. Then, you just provide the information.
AUDIO: Your 2019 and 2020 federal tax returns, you’re going to need a bank statement from April to December of 2020, you’re going to need your most current bank statement, and you’re going to need a tax identification number, and some type of ID for the business owner.
Van Hyfte says compared to some grant applications, the amount of info needed is rather simple. She also says Vermilion Advantage is on YOUR side and wants to give you a hand.
AUDIO: If you need help, if you don’t have a scanner, if you are not tech savvy and you just need someone to be there with you; you can get hold of me and I will help you. You can do nvanhyfte@vermilionadvantage.com, or you can call me at 217-442-6201- I’d be happy to help you. I have a portable scanner, I’ll come to you. I’ll do anything I can to get this money into your hands.
Van Hyfte says remember you have 72 hours to complete your application, after you click APPLY.
