Danville School District 118 is seeking to fill two seats on the school board caused by the recent resignations of Bill Dobbles and Lon Henderson.
The District issued the following news release Monday afternoon (September 13, 2021) regarding the vacancies:
The Danville School District 118 seeks to fill two vacancies on its Board of Education. A Board member must be a registered voter and reside in the district’s voting area. The term to be filled will begin in October 2021 and continue through April 2024.
Interested applicants should complete the Candidate Information Sheet and Candidate Questionnaire and submit to Board President, Dr. Randal Ashton AshtonR@danville118.org by September 22, 2021.
The selection process will be conducted by the Board with the appointment made no later than November 10, 2021.
