Many events have had what you would call comeback years this summer and fall after last year’s endless list of COVID cancellations. And one of them starts Friday, October 8th; the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival over in Rockville, Indiana. Parke County Board of Commissioners president Jim Meece says he expects a return to normal attendance levels, especially with the great weather forecast for this weekend.
Audio PlayerAUDIO: We’re counting on lots of folks coming as seeing us, oh I expect it’ll be normal, I expect we’ll have good crowds. They usually guess between a million and a million and a half over that ten day period.
It begins Friday morning the 8th, and as Jim Meece said it’s a full ten days for the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival, starting with this Columbus Day Weekend, and wrapping up Sunday October 17th.
