Is it too early to plan for the Night of Lights Parade? Not at all. Downtown Danville, INC, Vermilion Advantage, and the City of Danville are combining forces on this year’s parade, scheduled for Friday December 3rd at 6 PM. The theme this year is HOMETOWN HOLIDAY. And if you’d like to have a float in this year’s parade, you have until November 19th to speak up. As Danville Community Relations Administrator Ashton Greer explains, the 25 dollar fee for entering a float applies to businesses, but non-profits and individuals just have to sign up. Go to the Downtown Danville Inc. website: https://www.downtowndanville.org/news/night-of-lights-parade/

Otherwise, there isn’t, but you do need to register online at the Downtown Danville, Inc website; there’s a virtual form on there that you need to fill out just to get us your information so we can get you in the lineup. And the cutoff is November 19th so that we have time to organize and communicate with all of the entries and get all of our ducks in a row.
And by the way, corporate sponsorships for this year’s Night of Lights Parade are available as well. Just reach out to Ashton Greer at
