A fun time set for this Thursday (Oct 21st) evening at Garfield School, it’s their annual Reading Night. Masks need to be worn, and the students can come in costume as they listen to stories being read. There will also be crafts, activities, and guest readers: such as The Vermilion County Fair Queen and Junior Miss, as well as the Georgetown Fair Queen; and even a guest appearance from a character in the book “The Day the Crayons Quit.” Garfield School Librarian Mrs. Willer says, there’s a lot planned.
AUDIO: We want to give the kids an opportunity to maybe put on their costume, and just have some fun with us, and fun with some books.
Thursday Annual Reading Night at Garfield School on North Gilbert runs from 5:30 to 7.
