Two suspects in separate Vermilion County homicide cases were given new court dates by Circuit Judge Charles C Hall on Monday afternoon. Nineteen-year-old Montel C.L. Plummer of Danville, accused in the shooting death of his 32-year-old brother Bryson Carter on September 4th in the 1900 block of Deerwood Drive, was presented with an indictment issued this past Friday the 22nd, and given a pre-trial hearing date of December 7th at 9 AM.
In addition, 21-year-old Darryl L Jordan of Kankakee, accused in the double-homicide that took place at Blue Bird’s Liquor just outside of Danville on Main Street on September 18th, was presented with an indictment issued back on October 8th, and also given a pre-trial hearing date of December 7th at 9 AM.
In both cases, council has been provided for the defendants, and not-guilty pleas have been issued on their behalf.
