The Danville District 118 School Board will be meeting Wednesday evening. The agenda includes the swearing in of the two new school board members recently chosen among interested candidates: Elder Parks and Christopher Easton, who are replacing the recently resigned Lon Henderson and William Dobbles.
Parks is a 27 year resident of Danville, and serves as District Superintendent for the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Easton is a nine year resident of Danville, and serves as Chaplain of the Illinois Department of Corrections, as well as at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, and Danville Area Community College.
Wednesday evening’s meeting will begin at 5:30, go into closed session, and reconvene with open session at 6:30.
