Lots of Halloween traditions have returned this year after last fall’s COVID precautions, some of them with a new twist. One example would be the Trunk or Treat over at CrossRoads Christian Church on North Vermilion in Danville. As spokesperson Kathy Robinson explains, it’s back, and this year, they’re doing it outside, Sunday 3PM to 5 PM.
Audio PlayerAUDIO: I can’t tell you how big it’s going to be, but usually we see about 1,200 people, and we pass out a lot of candy. We didn’t do anything last year, and for the prior several years we had held this indoors. But we are going to do it outdoors this year so this is a little new for us. Safety teams are available so that everyone’s parking in a good area.
Just use the north entrance and park to the north side of the church. CrossRoads Christian Church is at 3613 North Vermilion.
