Elder Tyson Parks and Mr. Christopher Easton have both taken their oaths to serve on the Danville District 118 School Board. They have replaced the recently resigned Lon Henderson and William Dobbles.

Elder Parks, District Superintendent for the African Methodist Episcopal Church and a 27-year resident of Danville, stated that he’s glad to be on board, and ready to go.

Easton, a nine year Danville resident serving as Chaplain of the Illinois Department of Corrections/OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center/and Danville Area Community College; also says he’s ready to serve, and learn.

The next District 118 Board meeting will be Wednesday, November 10th.
