The Vermilion County Health Department is reporting 23 new cases (one resident in their 90s, three in their 80s, five in their 70s, three in their 60s, two in their 50s, two in their 40s, three in their 30s, one in their 20s, two teens, and one toddler), and 40 released, which brings us to a total of 14,285 positive cases.
The Health Department is also reporting three additional COVID-related deaths – a woman in her 50s, a man in his 60s, and a man in his 70s. Vermilion County’s total pandemic fatality amount now stands at 200.
There are currently 311 active COVID cases in the county. There are currently 16 Vermilion County residents hospitalized with COVID.
Of the 23 cases being reported today, five of them stated they have been fully vaccinated.
