Vermilion County residents are reminded that if you need assistance providing food for your family, the Eastern Illinois Foodbank Foodmobile is making a stop at Ward Park in Ridge Farm this Saturday, 9:30 to 10:30 AM. For more information, or to register ahead of time, go to www.EIFclient.com. Pre-registering does not reserve a spot in line, so get there before 9:30 if you can; and please bring sturdy boxes, carts and wagons, or bags to carry your food. Rhonda Barnette from Eastern Illinois Foodbank says, they’ll be ready to go.
AUDIO: All you have to do is come in, stand in line; and then you give us your name and your information, then you can go to the foodmobile.
Other downstate Eastern Illinois Foodbank Foodmobile stops this Saturday will be at Trinity Community Fellowship in Farmer City; and Normal West High School in Bloomington-Normal.
