It was a good day. Despite the unexpected wintry mix that blew in this morning ,❄️ messing with our vision (not to mention our decorations 😂) for the perfect 8th Annual Oakwood Area Food Pantry 5k Turkey Trot & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, it was a very good day.
The kindness that our community members exude just blows me away. People show up. They help their neighbors. They stuff race bags until midnight. They cheer each other on. They help move chairs outside, then inside❄️ & outside again. They plot race courses and put signs out. They give generously. Thank you, Oakwood!! 💜
