Neuhoff Media Chief Operating Officer Mike Hulvey has received the Danville Noon Rotary Club Vocational Service Award. Prior to Monday’s ceremony at the Fischer Theatre, Hulvey told Linda Bolton on 1490 WDAN’s News Makers program that he saw the award as something for the entire local Neuhoff Media team at WDAN, D102, and K-Rock.
AUDIO: This is very much in my mind a recognation of all of those professionals that make things happen for the right reasons.

Hulvey says radio has indeed changed in that it communicates and connects in so many ways these days than just over the airwaves.
AUDIO: Look at the consumption habits, and look at your own as a listener. Look at your own consumption habits and how they have changed in consumption of information. Look at how you are using the internet. Look at how you are using your phone. Look at how you use your tablet. Look at how you use your radio. Look at what is defined as a radio. Where radio has changed from a device to multiple points of contact.
Hulvey has been part of the Danville community since his family moved here in 1976.
