A Quincy man is facing multiple charges after leading police on a high speed chase in Danville Tuesday afternoon. Police lodged eleven charges against 39-year-old Cary Holder including aggravated fleeing and eluding, criminal damage to government property, reckless conduct, speeding in excess of 21 miles per hour over the limit, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
At one point during the chase police say Holder drove through the playground at Liberty Elementary School and crashed through a fence. Then Holder’s vehicle drove around the school and through another fence.
