There will be fewer precincts outside Danville but within Vermilion County for this year’s elections. Members of the County Board last night approved an ordinance reducing the precincts from 55 to 38.
County Clerk Cathy Jenkins says the change should not have much of an impact on voters….
Jenkins noted often it is difficult to find enough election judges, and added this should help.
