It’s been a mild winter snowfall wise thus far, and one thing this has helped in Danville is continued progress on the Carle at the Riverfront medical facility site along Logan.
Carle spokesperson Kaleb Miller says recently completed and ongoing items include the interior wall framing on the 1st and 2nd floors, the installation of stair railings, and the building of the perimeter envelope to enclose the building and allow drywalls and finishes work to proceed.
AUDIO: We are still on target to have this building completed by 2023, and start to get folks in Vermilion County into the new facility, and continue to bring that health care straight to them in Danville.
Other items of late include interior wall framing and mechanical rough-in work on the 1st and 2nd floors.

As so a lot of the framework is starting to be built on that building. You can see the perimeter envelope being put in, stair railings are going in, and a temporary roof on the Ambulatory Surgery Center that’s going to be coming in.
