The ribbon was cut Friday morning to celebrate the new Goodwill location in Danville, northeast of Bowman and Voorhees at 1507 North Bowman. Vice-President of Retail Operations for Land of Lincoln Goodwill Wally Proenza says they’re glad to be there, having moved over from 904 North Gilbert.
AUDIO: It’s a great spot for us, in regards to space. Let’s say we had similar space in the old location we had, but it’s overall on the floor 4,000 more square feet right more. So we have more retail space to offer to the community.

The new Goodwill location on North Bowman will be open Monday through Saturday 10 to 7, and Noon to 6 PM on Sundays; for both the store and donations.
