Danville Mass Transit has announced there will be no bus service again on Friday, February 4th, due to weather conditions.
Lisa Beith, Danville’s Director of Public Transportation, says service will resume on Saturday morning at 7:15.
Beith noted roads in Danville and surrounding communities are still mostly snow and ice-covered due to drifting. She says when service resumes Saturday the DMT busses will be operating on the following snow routes:
- 1 Grant/Logan…there will be no service on Grant, Chandler or Voorhees Streets. But the bus will operate Gilbert to Fairchild to Logan.
- There will be no outbound 2 Gilbert or inbound 4 Bowman. Please use the outbound 4 Bowman and inbound 2 Gilbert Street routes.
- Road conditions will be evaluated before a decision is made regarding the 10 Danville-Champaign run on Friday.
