THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE NOON KIWANIS RELEASE
Danville, IL, April 6, 2022 – Despite the challenges of the most recent year, Danville Noon Kiwanis found a way to overcome and continue their Annual October Pancake Day event andraise over $19,000 for area children and youth agencies. This would not have been possible without the help of generous sponsors and volunteers.
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child at a time. Danville Noon Kiwanis has been serving our local community for over 100 years. They have invested thousands of dollars into area youth and children services. They currently have over 40 members who attend weekly meetings every Thursday at Noon at the VFW in Danville.
“We are so grateful for those who continue to support Kiwanis Annual Pancake Day. If it wasn’t for the support of generous donors and volunteers, this event would not be the success it is year after year,” stated Danville Noon Kiwanis President, Travis Mains. “We want to make sure we
celebrate those who make this event possible.”
This year, they will be celebrating their 2nd Annual Day of Giving on April 21, 2022 at the Danville First Church of the Nazarene located at 2212 N. Vermilion in Danville. Checks will be presented to 25 local organizations. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., program to begin at 6:00 p.m.
