Illinois residents will have the opportunity Wednesday, May 4th to participate in a free virtual session with the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Communications Director Chris Schneider says this session is for anyone who has been dealing with a loved one with alzheimer’s, or might be in the early stages or wants to plan for the future as a precaution. Either way, there will be comfort, and information.
AUDIO: So we’re going to have a couple of different sessions. One of which is going to be talking about advance planning; and getting things like wills and estates and financial and legal affairs. We’re going to have another session on different capacities and legal documents. And then we’re also going to have a caregiver give her perspective on caring for her mother who had Alzheimer’s disease, and talk about some different lessons that she’s learned.
